Palm Pre on June 6th for $200
Sprint Nextel Corp will begin selling the long-awaited Palm Pre smartphone on June 6 for $199.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate.
The Pre will run on Sprint’s 3G network and feature personal and professional calendars, e-mail, and contact lists, the company said.
The new phone is seen as Palm’s best hope to fight rivals such as the iPhone and RIM’s BlackBerry, which have hurt Palm’s smartphone sales in recent years.
And 2 days before WWDC starts.. that’s gonna be a wild weekend…
