Nokia N900 First Impressions

Features a 600MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor with up to 1GB of application memory, runs Maemo 5, and supports 3D graphics through OpenGL ES 2.0.  It may even be headed for T-Mobile USA, as it uses AWS spectrum [T-Mobile’s 3G]. More on the specs here & here. Looks like I may have found my next handset.. and TMo really needs an N or E series in their lineup, even if it’s not in the traditional sense. And the fact that Nokia is including Band IV UMTS means that they may finally start shipping quadband WCDMA phones in the near future, for global 3G use.
